East End Fund for Children

The East End Fund for Children (EEFC) is a coalition of 7 local non-profits designed to meet the needs of the community’s most vulnerable.

EEFC provides essential food, mental health support, counseling, affordable childcare, and educational and recreational programming to over 3,500 local children every week.

Citarella has been a steadfast supporter of the East End Fund for Children, thanks to the generosity of its owner, Joe Gurrera. Each summer, Citarella launches a fundraising initiative and offers its shoppers multiple ways to contribute at its three South Fork locations.
